Bharat Sanchar Nigam Restricted (BSNL) is ready to launch its 4G community throughout Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, and Kodagu districts in Karnataka. Tata Consultancy Companies Restricted (TCS) has been instrumental in supplying and putting in the community, which is upgradable to 5G later, in response to a report by The Hindu.

BSNL 4G Tower Commissioning
A complete of 690 4G towers are slated for commissioning, aiming to considerably improve connectivity within the area. Particularly, 337 towers will serve Mysuru and Chamarajanagar, whereas 200 and 153 towers are allotted for Kodagu and Mandya, respectively.
Ujwal Gulhane, Chief Basic Supervisor Telecom, Karnataka Circle, highlighted BSNL’s initiatives and different tasks throughout a media briefing in Mysuru. The BSNL has undertaken a 4G saturation challenge of the Authorities of India, which is being monitored by the Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO), as reported earlier by TelecomTalk.

Phased Strategy
Within the first part of the challenge, 79 areas had been recognized in rural areas of the Mysuru enterprise space, comprising Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, and Mandya districts. These areas at the moment don’t have any community protection from any cellular operators.
Out of 55 websites in Kodagu, set up of towers has been accomplished in 32 websites. Out of twenty-two websites in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar, set up of towers has been achieved in 14 websites. In Mandya, set up is deliberate for 2 websites.
