Rosé Spritz | Julie Blanner

A Hugo Rosé Spritz is a delightfully bubbly and candy option to sip this summer time! It’s the right woman’s night time spin on my basic Hugo Spritz cocktail, balancing rosé, St. Germain, mint and lime.

Whereas a basic rosé spritz is an easy combination of rosé and glowing water or soda, I’ve given this cocktail the final word improve! A little bit contact of St-Germain is one of the simplest ways to raise this straightforward drink for particular events. Generally, a day on the pool is the one special day you want – and that is the right sip for that form of day, too!

When mixed with a contact of recent lime and mint leaves, my Hugo Rosé Spritz is such a memorable cocktail. I simply know you’re going to like this one as a lot as I do – cheers!

Ingredient Notes

  • St Germain – This model is my favourite, however any elderflower liqueur will do. St. Elder is another choice, and it’s rather less costly.
  • Prosecco – Select an inexpensive, medium-bodied choice.
  • Glowing Soda – Fever Tree is a good membership soda model, however any form of glowing water will work on this recipe!
  • Limes – Use these for garnish and to infuse the drink itself.
  • Mint – Gorgeously inexperienced, aromatic and flavorful, don’t skimp on the mint leaves!

Julie’s Ideas

Select the Excellent Bottle: Rosé may be nonetheless, semi-sparkling, or glowing. It may vary in sweetness too – with a really dry taste profile to fairly candy.

Modify Sweetness: For those who want a sweeter drink, add a splash of easy syrup or use a sweeter rosé.

Stop your display from going darkish

  • Chill All Substances: Guarantee your rosé, glowing water, and St-Germain are well-chilled earlier than mixing.
  • Stir the mint leaves a bit along with your spoon to launch the oils – no have to muddle.
  • For stronger mint and lime taste, add the wedge of lime to the bottom of the glass (together with the mint leaves) and stir them collectively. Then, add ice and pour the components over this base.

Make a Pitcher

Use a full bottle of rosé (roughly 26 ounces), 19.5 ounces (2cups) of St-Germain and prime it with 24 ounces (3 cups) of membership soda. Add the rosé and membership soda simply earlier than serving.

Variations

  • Rosé Aperol Spritz: Add a splash of Aperol for a barely bitter, orangey twist.
  • Berry Rosé Spritz: Use muddled berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries) for a fruity taste.
  • Citrus Rosé Spritz: Add slices of lemon, lime, or orange for a zesty kick.
